David Thomas.
"At 32, I've lived more than most people do in a lifetime — the highs and the lows in equal measure."
I know what the floor feels like — not as a metaphor, but as something I've actually lived. I've been homeless. I've fought addiction. I've had to rebuild from places most people don't come back from, and I did it more than once. That's not background color. That is the foundation everything at TwinFlame is built on.
I'm a second-chance advocate in the truest sense — not by title, but by conviction built from lived experience. The platforms in this portfolio aren't products I dreamed up at a whiteboard. They're platforms that should have existed for people I've personally known, people I've personally been. When I built ReForgeHQ for workforce reinvention and justice-impacted workers, or Field & Forge for veterans trying to find their footing, or DivorceOS for families starting over — I wasn't modeling a persona. I was building for the version of me that needed these tools and couldn't find them.
I'm actively in recovery. That's not a confession — it's a credential. It means I understand urgency. It means I build for real people in real situations. And it means I don't quit, because I've already survived harder things than a hard startup.
On the professional side: I have been part of building businesses that led to a successful acquisition, helped 10× demo conversion rates at a NASDAQ-traded health tech company, and built growth infrastructure for 50+ early-stage startups. The track record is real — but it wouldn't exist without the personal one. Both matter here.
I built TwinFlame because the platforms I knew should exist — for the people I knew personally — were never going to come from anyone else.
Today I run TwinFlame Group out of Roseville, California — an AI platform studio building production software for the categories the venture incumbents ignored: independent practices getting quietly underpaid by insurance carriers, justice-impacted workers trying to build a legitimate career, chambers of commerce running on decades-old tech, families navigating divorce without any real support, sales teams drowning in CRM admin work.
Eight live platforms. Launching our first product to market May 21, 2026. Pre-seed stage. The work is the answer.
